* Fox Corp.-owned FOX News Media appointed Lauren Petterson president of FOX Business Network (US). Petterson replaced Brian Jones, who is leaving the company. Petterson will continue overseeing talent development at FOX News Channel (US). Petterson was senior vice president of morning programming and talent development for FOX News Channel.
* DXC Technology Co. appointed Mike Salvino president and CEO. Salvino succeeds Mike Lawrie, who retired as president and CEO of the company.
* Oracle Corp. CEO Mark Hurd will take a leave of absence for health-related reasons. The computer software company named Co-CEO Safra Catz and Executive Chairman and Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison to cover Hurd's responsibilities during his absence. The company did not provide further details on Hurd's health condition.
* Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. named Eduardo Maytorena as local sales manager of the Los Angeles market, KLAX-FM – 97.9FM La Raza and KXOL-FM Mega 96.3FM. Most recently, Maytorena served as senior account executive, where he led advertising sales in Los Angeles for the company.
* Netflix Inc. hired former Constantin Medien AG executive Sasha Bühler to become the streaming company's director of original film for Germany, France and Nordics, Deadline reported. Bühler take over in December. The news comes after Funa Maduka, Netflix's director of international original films and acquisitions, resigned in August.
* Get Credit Healthy Inc. CEO Elizabeth Karwowski returned as CEO of Beta Music Group Inc. Dan Oran temporarily succeeded Karwowski as interim CEO from April. Get Credit Healthy is the operating subsidiary of Beta Music Group.
* Former Impac Mortgage Holdings Inc. COO Rian Furey joined Zillow Group Inc. as president of Zillow Home Loans. In this role, Furey will oversee Zillow Group's Mortgage portfolio, which includes Marketplace and Mortech. Zillow Group also named several other executives to roles at Zillow Home Loans.
Libby Cooper was named vice president of strategy and operations. She most recently served as senior vice president of strategy for Impac Mortgage. Darren Apfel was appointed senior director of product development. Zillow named Jeff Kibbey vice president of compliance. Kibbey most recently was chief compliance officer and general counsel of Sierra Pacific Mortgage Co. Inc. The company named Paul Thomas vice president of finance. Thomas was executive vice president of Capital Markets at SunTrust Mortgage.
* Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. purchased a majority interest in HDNet LLC, the parent company of U.S. television networks AXS TV (US) and HDNet Movies (US). Entertainer and producer Steve Harvey is joining as an investor and will also enter into a strategic agreement for content development and promotion of Anthem's portfolio of channels. Mark Cuban and AEG will continue to participate as equity partners.
* Workiva Inc. named Julie Iskow executive vice president and COO, effective Oct. 1. Iskow was previously executive vice president and chief technology officer of Medidata Solutions. Workiva provides a reporting and compliance platform.
* Interpublic Group of Cos. Inc. appointed Philippe Krakowsky COO. Krakowsky will continue serving as Interpublic Group's chief strategy and talent officer in addition to his new appointment. Concurrently, the company named Daryl Lee CEO of IPG Mediabrands. Meanwhile, Eileen Kiernan has been promoted to global CEO of IPG Mediabrands' unit, Universal McCann Worldwide Inc., replacing Lee. Kiernan most recently served as global president of J3, the dedicated media unit within Universal McCann.
* Bright Mountain Media Inc. is rebranding its Daily Engage Media business under the Bright Mountain LLC. As part of the rebranding, the company named Vinay Belani vice president of international operations for the Bright Mountain brand. Belani was recently CEO of Daily Engage Media.
