Bank of Gansu director resigns; names 2 nonexecutive directors

Bank of Gansu Co. Ltd. named two new directors upon the resignation of Li Hui.

The bank said Li tendered his resignation Aug. 31 due to work adjustment.

The bank's board on the same day proposed the appointment of Liu Wanxiang as nonexecutive director and Dong Ximiao as independent nonexecutive director. Liu will replace Li, while Dong will replace Chen Aiguo who resigned in March.

Liu has served as deputy secretary to the party committee, director and general manager of Gansu Province Electric Power Investment Group Co. Ltd. since June. Dong is currently the executive dean of the Hengfeng Bank Research Institute and deputy director of the Industry Development Research Committee of the China Banking Association.

The appointments are subject to regulatory and other relevant approvals.
