Best Buy rolls out tech support subscription service

Electronics retailer Best Buy Co. Inc. said May 22 that its Total Tech Support subscription service is being rolled out nationwide following a trial period of several months.

The service is available for an annual fee of $199.99, which gives users unlimited access to the Geek Squad technical support team in-store as well as online, by telephone and through the Best Buy Home app. It also provides internet security software for up to three devices.

Total Tech Support members can also get special pricing on in-home installation and repair services.
