Paiho Shih Holdings Corp. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to 30 Taiwan cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 38 cents per share.
EPS declined 22.3% year over year from 38 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$78.6 million, a decline of 22.3% from NT$101.1 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 8.8% from 11.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to NT$894.7 million from NT$863.0 million, and total operating expenses climbed 8.2% year over year to NT$763.0 million from NT$704.9 million.
Reported net income declined 17.3% on an annual basis to NT$93.4 million, or 35 cents per share, from NT$113.0 million, or 43 cents per share.
