Axpo Holding AG subsidiaries signed long-term power purchase agreements with Nordic renewable developer OX2 for the output of two subsidy-free wind farms in Finland.

Axpo Nordic AS and Axpo Finland Oy agreed to buy all of the output of the 30-MW Kröpuln and 30-MW Storbacken wind farms that are under construction in Finland's Ostrobothnia region, according to an Oct. 15 news release.

Commercial operations could begin in the fourth quarter of 2021.
