Samse H1 profit climbs 18.7% YOY

Samse SA said its normalized net income for the first half was €2.60 per share, a gain of 18.7% from €2.19 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €9.0 million, an increase of 18.7% from €7.6 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to €610.7 million from €596.8 million, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to €595.4 million from €585.9 million.

Reported net income increased 36.0% year over year to €12.0 million, or €3.48 per share, from €8.8 million, or €2.56 per share.
