New York REIT shareholders OK conversion to Delaware limited liability company

New York REIT Inc. shareholders approved the company's plan to convert to a Delaware limited liability company from a Maryland corporation at a special meeting.

The real estate investment trust, which is liquidating, will be renamed New York REIT Liquidating LLC.

Of all the votes cast at the Sept. 7 meeting, 10,469,118 were in favor of the proposal, 35,117 were against it, and 1,404,615 were abstentions.
