Chelsea Savings Bank, Solon State Bank chairman dies

Donald Erusha, chairman of Belle Plaine, Iowa-based Chelsea Savings Bank and Solon, Iowa-based Solon State Bank, died on March 14, according to an obituary.

Erusha was a former president of Solon State Bank, a role he was named into when he and his father bought the bank in 1964. He retired from the role in 2000.

Erusha and his father bought Chelsea Savings Bank in 1950, according to the obituary.

Chelsea Savings Bank is a subsidiary of Chebelle Corp., while Solon State Bank is a unit of Solon Financial Inc.
