Vince Holding Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 2 was $2.78 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of $2.41 per share.
EPS fell year over year from $2.86.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $10.6 million, a gain of 41.4% from $7.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 11.9% from 10.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 20.2% on an annual basis to $89.3 million from $74.3 million, and total operating expenses climbed 22.6% on an annual basis to $69.4 million from $56.6 million.
Reported net income grew 22.5% year over year to $10.3 million, or $2.70 per share, from $8.4 million, or $3.20 per share.
