Oxford Properties sells Australian government building to Ashe Morgan for A$430M

Oxford Properties Group Inc. completed the A$430 million sale to Ashe Morgan Winthrop of the Australian Government Centre in the central business district of Brisbane, Australia, The Australian reported.

The divestment is part of the Canadian investor's A$2.6 billion offering of Investa Office Fund's portfolio across Australia, according to the publication.

Aside from the Australian Government Centre, Oxford Properties also sold the properties at 239 George St. and 15 Adelaide St. in the city for a combined consideration of A$225 million, the Aug. 29 report added.

Cushman & Wakefield is advising Oxford Properties regarding the portfolio, while CBRE Group Inc. serves as co-adviser in relation to the Brisbane properties.
