Broadwind Energy rebrands as Broadwind

Broadwind Energy Inc. on Jan. 6 announced its corporate rebranding to Broadwind, a diversified precision manufacturer of specialized components and solutions.

Broadwind's process systems segment, which includes Red Wolf Co., was also renamed Broadwind Industrial Solutions, while the towers and heavy fabrications segment was renamed Broadwind Heavy Fabrications.

"The rebranding is intended to better inform key stakeholders on how our business mix has evolved with time, while clearly defining who we are and how we win in the markets we serve," said Stephanie Kushner, CEO of Broadwind.

The rebrand is supportive of the company's long-term strategy, one that emphasizes further end-market diversification as its top priority entering 2020, said Eric Blashford, incoming CEO of Broadwind, effective March 1.
