Equifax appoints CEO

Equifax Inc. has appointed Mark Begor CEO, effective April 16, succeed Paulino do Rego Barros Jr. who served as interim CEO since September 2017.

Begor will also become a member of the Equifax board, and he joined the company from Warburg Pincus LLC, where he was a managing director.

In addition, Begor serves on the board of Fair Isaac Corp. and several Warburg Pincus portfolio companies. He will resign from these boards prior to his start date at Equifax.

Barros will retire from Equifax in early 2019 and will assist Begor in his transition over the coming months.
