Mackmyra Svensk Whisky AB said its third-quarter normalized net income was a loss of 49 Swedish öre per share, compared with a loss of 51 öre per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 4.5 million kronor, compared with a loss of 4.6 million kronor in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 27.9% from negative 34.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 19.4% on an annual basis to 16.0 million kronor from 13.4 million kronor, and total operating expenses grew 6.3% from the prior-year period to 19.9 million kronor from 18.8 million kronor.
Reported net income came to a loss of 7.2 million kronor, or a loss of 79 öre per share, compared to a loss of 7.4 million kronor, or a loss of 81 öre per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 9.22 Swedish kronor.
