Shan-Loong Transportation Q3 profit climbs 73.4% YOY

Shan-Loong Transportation Co.Ltd said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 54 Taiwan cents per share, an increase of 71.3% from 31 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$72.7 million, an increase of 73.4% from NT$41.9 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 1.8% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue totaled NT$4.00 billion, compared with NT$3.96 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses came to NT$3.92 billion, compared with NT$3.91 billion in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income rose 71.2% on an annual basis to NT$106.6 million, or 79 cents per share, from NT$62.3 million, or 47 cents per share.
