Matichon PCL said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to a loss of 13 satang per share, compared with a loss of 5 satang per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 24.7 million baht, compared with a loss of 9.6 million baht in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 11.1% from negative 3.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 18.3% on an annual basis to 222.6 million baht from 272.4 million baht, and total operating expenses fell 9.7% from the prior-year period to 273.9 million baht from 303.3 million baht.
Reported net income came to a loss of 38.4 million baht, or a loss of 21 satang per share, compared to a loss of 12.1 million baht, or a loss of 7 satang per share, in the year-earlier period.
