Moody's said some reinsurers with business in the Southeastcould see meaningful losses from damage caused by Hurricane Matthew, but thatthe losses will be manageable.

The Southeast is a peak catastrophe zone for U.S. reinsurers,but companies that have taken measured bets in the region should be able toshoulder losses in an earnings context, the rating agency said.
