MHI Vestas to supply turbines for French floating wind project

EOLFI SA, CGN Europe Energy and Banque des Territoires have selected MHI Vestas Offshore Wind A/S to supply turbines to their first floating offshore wind project, off the coast of Brittany, France.

The project is MHI Vestas's first in France and fourth floating project overall. It will consist of three 9.5-MW turbines. The project is slated to be installed in 2022, according to a press release.

MHI Vestas is a joint venture between Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
