EPCOR Utilities acquires power distributor in Ontario

An Ontario-based subsidiary of EPCOR Utilities Inc. has completed the acquisition of Collus PowerStream Corp. for undisclosed terms, according to an Oct. 1 news release.

Collus PowerStream, an electricity distributor, has 17,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers and serves in Collingwood, Stayner, Creemore and Thornbury in southwestern Ontario.

The Ontario Energy Board approved the acquisition on Aug. 30, according to the release.
