Mainstreet Equity to repurchase outstanding common shares

Mainstreet Equity Corp. plans to repurchase up to 479,437 of its outstanding common shares, or approximately 10% of its public float, under a normal course issuer bid.

The company plans to buy the shares from time to time starting June 1 through May 31, 2018, subject to a daily repurchase limit of 1,059 shares.

From June 1, 2016, through May 29, under its earlier normal course issuer bid, Mainstreet repurchased and canceled 78,530 of its shares at an average price of C$36.07 per share.
