Kingsway Financial Services Inc. is unable to timely file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company and its external auditors need additional time to complete certain reviews and analyses of certain financial and other related data to be included in the report, it said.

Kingsway expects to file the quarterly report on or before May 15.
