Harkness Capital Partners invests in Kane Is Able

Affiliates of New York City-based private equity firm Harkness Capital Partners LLC invested an undisclosed sum in Scranton, Pa.-based third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able Inc.

Kane Is Able will use the investment to expand its services and national footprint, according to a release. The company will retain its identity, and Michael Gardner will remain president and CEO.

Republic Partners advised Kane Is Able on the transaction.
