Resolute Mining exceeds FY'19 gold output, cost targets

Resolute Mining Ltd. said July 30 that the company produced 305,436 ounces at all-in sustaining costs of US$924 per ounce for fiscal year ended June 30, exceeding guidance of 300,000 ounces at AISC of US$960 per ounce.

The latest production figure was higher than last year's 284,127 ounces, while AISC was lower than the US$1,051 per ounce posted in fiscal year 2018.

For the quarter ended June 30, the company produced 78,132 ounces at an AISC of US$939 per ounce.

Resolute updated its annual guidance to match the change in the company's financial year to a 12-month period ending Dec. 31. The new full year 2019 guidance for the Syama gold project in Mali is 270,000 ounces at AISC of US$890 per ounce. The guidance for the company's total production is 330,000 ounces at AISC of US$990 per ounce.
