OJSC Pharmacy Chain 36.6 said its normalized net income for the first half came to a loss of 5.19 Russian rubles per share, compared with a loss of 4.59 rubles per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 314.3 million rubles, compared with a loss of 479.9 million rubles in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 51.4% on an annual basis to 16.10 billion rubles from 10.64 billion rubles, and total operating expenses grew 40.1% year over year to 15.11 billion rubles from 10.79 billion rubles.
Reported net income totaled 259.0 million rubles, or 4.28 rubles per share, compared to a loss of 397.0 million rubles, or a loss of 3.80 rubles per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Nov. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 65.98 Russian rubles.
