Crea Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to a loss of 76 Japanese sen per share, compared with a loss of ¥1.17 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥28.1 million, compared with a loss of ¥35.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to negative 14.1% from negative 106.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to ¥200.0 million from ¥33.0 million, and total operating expenses rose year over year to ¥243.0 million from ¥91.0 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥46.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.24 per share, compared to a loss of ¥57.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.91 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Nov. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.46.
