BB&T names regional exec; Bryn Mawr director to retire

* Jerry Johnson will retire as a director of Bryn Mawr Bank Corp. and unit Bryn Mawr Trust Co., effective immediately prior to the Bryn Mawr, Pa.-based company's 2018 annual meeting of shareholders, which will be held April 19.

A director is required to retire from the board on the eve of the annual meeting in the calendar year following the year in which the director turns 70, the company said in a filing.

Johnson has experience in corporate governance, business development and financial management, SNL records show.

* Todd Patterson will retire from Prime Meridian Holding Co.'s board, effective at the Tallahassee, Fla.-based company's annual meeting of shareholders to be held May 3.

Following the annual meeting, Patterson will serve as a director emeritus of the company.

* In its 2017 annual report, Hornell, N.Y.-based Steuben Trust Corp. said that Senior Vice President and Retail Sales Manager Jack Emrick has retired after 25 years of service.

* BB&T Corp. named Travis Rhodes president for its Delaware Valley Region, which includes BB&T community banking markets in Philadelphia and the surrounding Pennsylvania and New Jersey counties.

Rhodes, who currently is a regional corporate banking manager in Charlotte, N.C., will assume his new role immediately. He will replace Scott Gamble, who will retire June 30.

* Warren, Pa.-based Northwest Bank named Stephen Bell senior vice president of corporate real estate, The Bradford (Pa.) Era reported. He has been at Northwest for 13 years.

The bank is a unit of Northwest Bancshares Inc.
