Air Liquide H1 profit climbs 16.6% YOY

AIR LIQUIDE SA said its normalized net income for the first half came to €1.93 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of €2.21 per share.

EPS climbed year over year from €1.87.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €824.7 million, an increase of 16.6% from €707.0 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue rose 28.4% on an annual basis to €10.29 billion from €8.02 billion, and total operating expenses increased 29.6% on an annual basis to €8.70 billion from €6.71 billion.

Reported net income increased 18.6% on an annual basis to €958.6 million, or €2.25 per share, from €808.2 million, or €2.13 per share.
