Scottish Investment Trust proposes fiscal final, special dividends

British asset manager Scottish Investment Trust PLC's directors recommended final and special dividends of 6.90 pence per share and 7.45 pence per share, respectively, for the fiscal year ended Oct. 31 — up from 6.20 pence per share and 4.0 pence per share a year earlier.

Should the final dividend be approved, the company's total regular dividend for the fiscal year will increase by 7.5% to 22.80 pence per share, while approval of the special dividend will see its total dividend increase by 20.0% to 30.25 pence per share.
