Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based Dakota Wealth Management LLC agreed to Akron, Ohio-based acquire Springside Partners LLC.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Springside Partners founder and CEO Carina Diamond will join Dakota Wealth as chief client experience officer and will join the firm's executive committee. Professional teams from both companies will remain in place to serve their current clientele.

Dakota Wealth was launched in May 2018 and has roughly $1 billion in assets under management, while Springside Partners was launched in 2014 and provides fee-only wealth management services to clients.

Springside Partners is a subsidiary of BDO USA LLP.
