MassMutual Ventures launches $100M 2nd Southeast Asia-focused fund

MassMutual Ventures LLC launched its second $100 million fund for Southeast Asia.

The fund will target investments in digital health, financial technology and enterprise software sectors.

The funding brings the total capital under MassMutual Ventures to $350 million. The company's total investment capital has more than tripled in size since its establishment in 2014.

The fund will follow the strategy of its predecessor MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia, which will widen its investment reach by targeting opportunities in Hong Kong, India, Australia and New Zealand.

The company also hired Carlos Jo Loo as associate. He previously worked senior associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) SEA.
