Springfield First Community Bank names board chairman, vice chairman

The board of Springfield First Community Bank appointed Jim Anderson its chairman and Larry Lipscomb its vice chairman, for five-year terms, at a meeting held Aug. 15, SBJ reported.

Anderson succeeds CEO Rob Fulp, who was chairman of the board for seven years and will remain on the board as a director.

The changes in the board follow the acquisition of the bank's parent company, Springfield Bancshares, by QCR Holdings in a deal valued at approximately $90.7 million.

Anderson previously was vice president of marketing and public affairs for CoxHealth Inc., where Lipscomb was chairman and a board member, according to the publication.
