Traders and bankers at JPMorgan Chase & Co. will receive higher annual bonuses, according to several news reports.
The banking giant will raise annual bonuses at its corporate and investment bank, with percentage increases to average in the mid-single digits, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Equities traders and investment bankers will likely get higher increases.
With its investment banking division performing well throughout 2018, JPMorgan is boosting its bonus pool by 3%, sources told Reuters. The bonuses awarded to bankers, traders and other employees will be disclosed to them in the week starting Jan. 14, according to one of the sources.
