Avita Medical's American depositary shares approved for Nasdaq listing

Avita Medical Ltd. said its American depositary shares were approved for listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

The Valencia, Calif.-based company said the ADSs will begin trading on the exchange Oct. 1 under the ticker symbol RCEL. The company's ADSs, which previously traded on the U.S. OTC market under the AVMXY symbol, will be automatically moved to the Nasdaq listing.

Avita's common stock will also continue to be traded on the ASX under the symbol AVH.

The company said listing on Nasdaq is an extension of its growth plan.
