Nordea's head of personal banking to leave

Nordea Bank AB (publ) said its head of personal banking and group executive management member, Topi Manner, will leave the bank by the end of 2018, to become CEO of Nordic airline Finnair Oyj on Jan. 1, 2019.

Manner joined Nordea in 1997, and served in several key positions at Nordea Bank Finland PLC over the years, including CEO as well as the head of banking for Finland and the Baltics. The bank has started the search for Manner's replacement, both internally and externally.

At Finnair, Manner replaces Pekka Vauramo as CEO, who left the airline to serve a similar role at Metso Group. Finnair CFO Pekka Vähähyyppä will serve as acting CEO until Manner officially joins the company.
