Innogy acquires 23-MW wind project in Italy

Innogy SE announced March 15 it acquired the 23-MW Deliceto wind project in the Apulia region of Italy from Italian developer Imprese e Sviluppo.

The wind farm consists of 10 Enercon wind turbines with an installed capacity of 2.3 MW each, according to a March 15 news release.

"Within the upcoming years, we plan to acquire also wind farms which are under development. We are open to cooperation models to successfully realize projects together," innogy Italia SpA CEO Paolo Grossi said in a statement.

The project achieved operations in January 2013 and will now be operated by innogy Italia SpA.
