Goldman Sachs Group Inc. named Janki Lalani Gandhi as managing director in its cross-markets group, a spokeswoman told Financial News.
Gandhi previously worked at financial service provider Lincoln International LLC for three years.
The group is expected to keep growing next year, eventually reaching European markets, a source told the publication.
The investment banking and management firm launched the group in May to generate advisory work with companies having between $500 million to $2 billion in revenue while adding 1,000 more investment banking clients worldwide. The group has added bankers through external recruitment and internal transfers, as well as 10 managing directors.
