66 Resources to acquire esports firm

66 Resources Corp. entered a nonbinding letter of intent to acquire Vancouver-based esports startup Good Gamer Corp. for 7 million shares.

Under the terms, 66 Resources will have an exclusivity period of 45 days to finalize a definitive deal.

The company said Aug. 19 that it also launched a nonbrokered private placement of 6 million shares at 35 Canadian cents apiece for C$2.1 million in gross proceeds, with an overallotment option to increase the offering to 8,571,500 shares for C$3 million.

66 Resources owns the Champ gold project in British Columbia.
