Relativity Space Inc. raised $140 million in a series C funding round led by Bond and Tribe Capital.
It also received funds from current investors Playground Global LLC, Y Combinator, Social Capital and Mark Cuban Cos., as well as from new investors such as Lee Fixel, Michael Ovitz, Spencer Rascoff, Republic Labs,and Jared Leto.
The Los Angeles-based company is now fully funded and will be able to launch a 3D-printed rocket to orbit and enter commercial service in early 2021.
