U.K.-based wealth manager St. James's Place Plc said its board recommended a final dividend of 27.45 pence per share, up 33% from the year-ago 20.67 pence per share, for a full-year dividend in respect of 2017 of 42.86 pence per share, a rise of 30% from 33 pence per share in 2016.
Subject to shareholder approval at the company's annual general meeting, the final dividend will be paid June 1 to shareholders on the register at close of business April 6.
St. James's Place reported consolidated full-year 2017 IFRS profit attributable to equity shareholders of £145.9 million, up from £112.2 million earned in 2016. EPS for the year was 27.4 pence, compared to 21.3 pence a year earlier.
Funds under management rose to £90.75 billion at year-end from £75.31 billion at the start of the year. Net inflows totaled £9.51 billion, up 40% from £6.78 billion in 2016.
