Top Form International fiscal H1 profit climbs 79.5% YOY

Top Form International Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to 6 Hong Kong cents per share, an increase of 79.5% from 3 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was HK$12.5 million, an increase of 79.5% from HK$7.0 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 7.6% on an annual basis to HK$581.6 million from HK$540.4 million, and total operating expenses increased 5.3% from the prior-year period to HK$565.8 million from HK$537.5 million.

Reported net income grew 90.7% on an annual basis to HK$16.0 million, or 7 cents per share, from HK$8.4 million, or 4 cents per share.
