Otter Tail Q2 net income drops YOY

Otter Tail Corp. on Aug. 5 posted second-quarter 2019 net income of $15.4 million, or 39 cents per share, down from $18.7 million, or 47 cents per share, in the same period of 2018.

Operating revenues totaled $229.2 million, rising from $226.3 million in the year-ago quarter. Otter Tail reported operating income of $26.8 million, compared to $30.1 million a year earlier.

Looking ahead, the company affirmed its full-year 2019 earnings guidance range of $2.10 per share $2.25 per share.
