China Huishan Dairy Holdings Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to 4 fen per share, a gain of 23.4% from 3 fen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 555.9 million yuan, an increase of 53.8% from 361.4 million yuan in the prior-year period.
Total revenue rose 30.0% year over year to 1.99 billion yuan from 1.53 billion yuan, and total operating expenses rose 13.1% year over year to 959.6 million yuan from 848.5 million yuan.
Reported net income increased 53.0% on an annual basis to 789.3 million yuan, or 5 fen per share, from 515.8 million yuan, or 4 fen per share.
