JPMorgan vice chairman to join law firm

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Vice Chairman Stephen Cutler is leaving the bank.

Cutler will join New York-based Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP as a litigation partner in April, according to the law firm.

Cutler became vice chairman of JPMorgan in January 2016. He was the bank's general counsel from February 2007 until December 2016, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence.
