Platinum Equity to buy Singaporean electronics company PCI Ltd.

American private equity investment firm Platinum Equity LLC agreed to purchase Singapore-listed electronics manufacturing company PCI Ltd. for S$1.33 in cash per share in a take-private transaction expected to close in the second quarter, subject to shareholder and regulatory approval.

Pagani Holding III Ltd. is the entity responsible for conducting the transaction, which will be conducted by a scheme of arrangement under the Singapore Companies Act, on behalf of Platinum Equity.

DBS Bank Ltd. serves as the exclusive financial adviser to Pagani, while Duane Morris & Selvam LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP are acting as legal advisers.
