Deutsche Bank Q4'16 loss narrows YOY

Deutsche Bank AG reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of 2016 of €1.89 billion, compared to a net loss of €2.13 billion in the year-ago period.

For the full year 2016, net loss amounted to €1.36 billion, compared to a net loss of €6.77 billion in 2015. CEO John Cryan said the 2016 result was "heavily impacted by decisive management action taken to improve and modernize the bank, as well as by market turbulence for Deutsche Bank."
