Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to ¥52.30 per share, an increase of 76.7% from ¥29.59 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥5.71 billion, an increase of 76.7% from ¥3.23 billion in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 4.4% from 2.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 6.6% year over year to ¥128.67 billion from ¥120.67 billion, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to ¥119.59 billion from ¥115.53 billion.
Reported net income grew 95.8% from the prior-year period to ¥5.49 billion, or ¥50.30 per share, from ¥2.80 billion, or ¥25.69 per share.
