Facebook Inc. responded to more than 2,000 questions posed by U.S lawmakers following CEO Mark Zuckerberg's April testimony in back-to-back Congressional hearings.
The company sent more than 450 pages of responses in order to address concerns raised by U.S. lawmakers regarding users' privacy and user information. The documents also provided more detail about the information Facebook collects on users, including the battery level on their devices and computer mouse movements, The Wall Street Journal reported June 11.
The social networking company has faced increased scrutiny of its data-sharing policies since March when it disclosed that millions of users' data had been improperly accessed by the now-defunct data analytics firm Cambridge Analytica LLC and other third-party developers.
