The Procter & Gamble Co. said Oct. 24 that it has reached its 2020 goal of purchasing 100% renewable power in the U.S., Canada and Western Europe. Combined, these three markets represent more than 70% of P&G's purchased electricity globally.
The consumer products manufacturer offsets 100% of the electricity needed for its fabric and home care facilities in the U.S. and Canada with the Tyler Bluff wind project in Cooke County, Texas, and with the Albany Green Energy biomass facility in Albany, Ga.
