Japanese retail giant Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. said Feb. 14 that its Uniqlo apparel brand will the launch its first store in the Netherlands in the fall.
The clothing brand will open a three-story store with a total sales area close to 2,040 square meters in Amsterdam.
The company added that the store will be one of its largest in Europe and its biggest in the Benelux region.
The Netherlands will be Uniqlo's 21st market worldwide and its 8th in Europe. The expansion follows its planned launch in Sweden.
As of Feb. 1, Uniqlo has 68 stores across Europe.
