Kaitori Okoku fiscal Q4 profit climbs 7.1% YOY

4915143 said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Feb. 28 amounted to ¥37.37 per share, a gain of 7.1% from ¥34.88 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥65.6 million, an increase of 7.1% from ¥61.3 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 4.3% from 4.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to ¥1.53 billion, compared with ¥1.54 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses declined year over year to ¥1.43 billion from ¥1.45 billion.

Reported net income rose 9.1% year over year to ¥60.0 million, or ¥34.17 per share, from ¥55.0 million, or ¥31.32 per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥103.57 per share, an increase of 8.2% from ¥95.74 per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was ¥181.9 million, an increase of 8.2% from ¥168.1 million in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue rose year over year to ¥5.61 billion from ¥5.38 billion, and total operating expenses grew year over year to ¥5.33 billion from ¥5.12 billion.
