Danish pension fund invests 2B kroner in Denmark development project

PensionDanmark is investing 2 billion Danish kroner in a development project in Aarhus, Denmark, IPE Real Assets reported.

According to the report, the labor-market pension fund purchased a 36,000-square-meter plot from Ferguson Nordic Holdings Aps, where it intends to build "a new sustainable and attractive city quarter."

The fund will build 70,000 square meters of new homes and commercial buildings, in partnership with developer CASA, as part of the plan, the publication added.

As of June 8, US$1 was equivalent to 6.33 Danish kroner.
